Nepean Jr. Wildcats U22

The Jr. Wildcats team is coached by Kevin Mason. The team competes in the Provincial Women’s Hockey league and in tournament in Canada and the United States. The Provincial Women's Hockey League (or PWHL) is a Junior women's ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada that was founded in 2004. It is considered to be the highest level of junior women's amateur ice hockey in Ontario, and is sanctioned by Hockey Canada and the Ontario Women's Hockey Association.


Bruce MacDonald - General Manager

Bruce has coached the Jr. Wildcats since 2012, building on a wealth of experience gained while coaching elite women’s hockey. He was named PWHL Coach of the Year in 2013-2014 setting a PWHL record with 67 regular season points. Bruce has always wanted his young female athletes to be prepared for the next level of competition and more importantly become leaders in our community. Bruce recently retired from Coaching and is now enjoying the General Manager position with the Advanced Development Program.

Bruce is the main contact for NCAA, USPORT and Hockey Canada scouts and will oversee all scouting opportunities within the ADP. The GM will also be conducting player assessments throughout the season and will manage player selection and be involved in team formation.

The Advanced Development Program allows our athletes the opportunity to showcase and prepare for the National Collegiate Athletic Association, USPORTS, the Professional Canadian Women's Hockey League, as well as the Canada Women's national ice hockey team.

ODWHA Championship Day

March 12, 2020

BCAA & MCAA Qualify for the ODWHA Championship Day!

Both teams finished first in the standings and punched their ticket to the ODWHA Championship game on Sunday March 28th and 29th, 2020 in Smith Falls, ON.

The Bantam AA team won all 4 playoff games and will be playing the Ottawa Lady 67’s on Saturday March 28th, 2020, at 6:50 PM.

The Midget AA team went 2-0-2 and will be playing the Cumberland Grads on Sunday March 29th, 2020, at 1:50 PM.

OWHA Provincials

Bantam AA & Midget AA Qualify for the OWHA Provincials!

Congratulations to the Nepean Wildcats Bantam and Midget AA teams for qualifying for the 2019-2020 OWHA Provincial Championship the weekend of April 3-5, 2020.

The Bantam AA team went 3-0-1 earning 7 of 8 possible points finishing first in the Region. The Midget AA team swept all three games and earned all 6 points to also finish first in the Region.

The Advanced Development Program, is designed to expose participants to the demands of playing at an Elite level.
